Q: What types of marriage ceremonies do you offer? A: Your ceremony can be anything you’d like. It can be a theme wedding (e.g. New Year’s, Beach, Halloween, etc.) It can also incorporate religious practice (e.g. Buddhist, Jewish, etc.) or reflect cultural customs (e.g. Scottish, Persian, etc.) I’m also proud to officiate same-sex marriages.

Q: Are your wedding ceremonies religious or non-denominational?

A: It’s your day, and it is my wish to create a wedding ceremony that is reflective of your values and personal wishes. My ceremonies range from being spiritual, to religious, to being totally non-religious, according to the couple’s wishes.

Q: Do you offer Handfasting ceremonies?

A: Yes - and I have a number of creative ways to incorporate this in your ceremony. In fact, I offer many symbolic rituals which can add beautiful depth and richness to your wedding.

Q: Do you charge a mileage fee?

A: While the standard fee charged by B.C. marriage commissioners is 48 cents/kilometer or $25/hour, I do not charge for mileage. I travel to weddings as far North as Squamish and as far south as the Fraser River.

Q: We don't live in Vancouver, but would like to be married there. How can you write a custom ceremony for us when we live so far away?

A: Because I also offer wedding meetings on Skype, I'm able to interview couples from all over the world - then write and officiate beautiful wedding ceremonies for them in Vancouver.

Q: We want you to marry us! What’s our next step? A: If you would like to book me for your wedding date, please first give me a call or write to ensure my availability. Because I dedicate over ten hours for the creation and delivery of each wedding ceremony, I have established a limit to the number of weddings I perform each month. I receive inquiries about my services on a daily basis, and it is not uncommon for the same dates to be requested - especially weekends! To be fair to all, the first to make payment in advance secures the date.
